Q: Where exactly is Stauntons on the Green?
A: We are located in the centre of Dublin city, with a private entrance onto the delightful Iveagh Gardens. Our neighbourhood is particularly suitable for visitors wanting to stay in the heart of the city, 
as we are situated on St. Stephen's Green. Grafton Street, Dublin’s renowned pedestrianised shopping area and
the St. Stephen's Green shopping centre are less than a 5-minute walk away.

 Temple Bar and the Ha’penny Bridge are less than 20 minutes away by foot. Dublin’s historical and cultural attractions are easily within walking distance of our exclusive unique accommodation -
National Concert Hall, National Art Gallery, National History Museum, National Library, Trinity College,
St Patrick’s Cathedral and Christchurch Cathedral.

Q: How close is Stauntons on the Green to top tourist sites?
A: Stauntons on the Green is located close to some of Dublin city’s top entertainment sites.
In terms of accessibility, the following attractions are close to us:

• Grafton Street - 6 minutes walk

• Trinity College - 12 minutes walk

• National Concert Hall – 4 minutes walk

• National History Museum - 10 minutes walk

• Gaiety Theatre – 7 minutes walk

• St. Patrick’s Cathedral – 12 minutes walk

 Q: Can I get transport to Stauntons on the Green from Dublin Airport?
A: Yes, see our airport arrivals page for more information.
You can buy bus tickets on arrival at the airport or choose to take a taxi here. 

Q: What is there to do around the hotel?

Q: Does the hotel have a car park and is it included in the rate?
A: We do not have a car park; however, our guests can avail of concessionary parking rates nearby.

Q: What does our "no show" policy entail?
A: If you do not show on the day of your booking, you will be charged the full amount for your first night's stay.

If you have booked our "advanced purchase" rates, you will incur a 100% penalty charge for the entire duration of your stay. If you have booked our "stay and save" rates, you have free cancellation up to 48 hours prior to check-in.

Q: What time is check out?
A: Check-out is 12 noon.

Q: Is it possible to get a late check out?
A: Late check-out is subject to availability. It may be possible to check-out later than 12 noon with a €25 charge to
check-out at 14:00. It is advisable to discuss the possibility of this with our Front Office team at the reception desk.

Q: What time is check in?
A: Check-in is officially from 14:00. Earlier check-in is subject to room availability and a €20 charge. If it is not possible to check-in earlier than 14:00, our guests may leave luggage with our Front Office team at the reception area.

Q: What is the hotel’s credit card policy?
A: We require a credit card to make and secure a booking. We accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards.
If a booking is secured with a debit card, a cash deposit may be required.

Q: Can I arrange for amenities or gifts to be placed in the room? What do you offer?
A: Yes, we offer a variety of welcome amenities that can be placed in a guest’s bedroom.
For example, we can arrange for flowers or chocolates to be placed in a guest bedroom.

Q: What type of room should I book for three adults?
A: If you wish to book for three adults, it would be best to book a Triple or family room. Each of these is comprised of 1 double and 2 single beds. If you have specific room requests please call us on 01 4782300 and we’d be happy to help.

Q: Do you have family rooms?
A: We have family rooms, comprising of two double beds. To guarantee availability of a suitable room
please contact us on 01 4782300 and we’d be happy to help.

Q: Do you have cots for children?
A: We can offer to include one baby cot into most of our room types, free of charge.

Q: Are pets permitted?
A: Only certified guide dogs are permitted in our hotel.

Q: Do you have wheelchair accessible rooms?
A: We do not have wheelchair accessible rooms.

Q: Does the hotel provide international adaptors?
A: Our bedrooms are equipped with both standard Ireland/UK plug sockets and international plug sockets.

Q: How old do I have to be to check-in to the Hotel?
A: In order to check-in to our hotel, you must be at least 18 years old. If you are under 18 years old,
you must be accompanied by somebody aged 18 or older.

Q: When booking online, how can I be sure that I will have a room reservation?
A: If you book a room through our website, you will be issued with a confirmation number.
This will be sent to the email address you provide in your booking form.

Q: Do you offer hairdryers in your guestrooms?
A: Yes, all of our bedrooms are equipped with a hairdryer for your complimentary use.

Q: Do you provide coffee makers in your guestrooms?
A: Yes, all of our bedrooms are equipped with bottled water, a kettle and tea/coffee for your complimentary use.

Q: Do you provide irons and ironing boards for use during my stay?
A: Yes, irons and an ironing boards can be requested for your complimentary use.

Q: Is the hotel air-conditioned?
A: No, our hotel is not equipped with air conditioning. Fans are available from our Front Office team at
the reception desk for a deposit.

Q: Do your rooms include VAT?
A: Yes, our room rates quoted include VAT.

Q: Do you have connecting rooms?
A: No, we do not have connecting rooms but to request adjacent rooms or with more specific accommodation
requests please contact us on 01 4782300 and we’d be happy to assist.

Q: Can children share my room?
A: We can offer a family room. These are comprised of two double beds. To request a family room or with
more specific accommodation requests please contact us on 01 4782300 and we’d be happy to assist.

Q: Do you offer Breakfast in bed?
A: No, we do not offer breakfast in bed. Breakfast is served in the dining room
weekdays from 7am to 10am and on weekends and Bank Holidays from 8am to 10am. 

Q: Is Internet access available?
A: Yes, our guests have complimentary access to Stauntons on the Green’s high-speed Wi-Fi.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?
A: Our Flexible Rates have a cancellation policy of notice by 14:00 GMT 48 hours prior to the arrival date booked.
Our Advanced Purchase rates are payable at the time of booking and each reservation is
non-transferable and non-refundable.

Q: What time is breakfast served?
A: Breakfast is served each morning in the dining room located on the basement level.
Monday to Friday from 7am – 10am. Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays from 8am – 10am

Q: Does Stauntons on the Green have a restaurant?
A: We serve breakfast only at Stauntons on the Green.
We are located just minutes from a wide variety of excellent restaurants, cafes and bars.
