In his review, Pól described Stauntons on the Green as "one of Dublin's best-kept secrets" with a "beautifully judged blend of traditional guesthouse and Georgian city stay." He also praised the "super breakfast, smiling service" and "stunning Harry Clarke stained-glass window".

Stauntons on the Green are honoured to be named a Top 10 Hotel in Ireland for 2022 by TripAdvisor. “Community-powered” rankings are determined based “on the quality and quantity of traveller reviews and ratings” posted on its website over 2021, “as well as an additional editorial process”. This is the 3rd consecutive year that Stauntons has earned a place on TripAdvisor’s well-regarded 'Best of the Best' list.
