Stauntons Visitor Reviews
This hotel is a fine example of Georgian Architecture with pleasant rooms, excellent breakfasts and friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has a pleasant garden and the sitting room takes you back to Georgian Times with its traditional decor and furnishings and you won't find a more helpful receptionist anywhere in Dublin!

A few minutes stroll through the delightful gardens of St Stephen's Green which was on our doorstep whilst staying in Stauntons on the Green, and we were at the top of Grafton Street, a mecca for shopping, street entertainers, pubs, and the sheer buzz of life in Dublin today. Stauntons Hotel is a mixture of old Georgian and new build; rooms vary from spacious old to modern efficient.

Once you enter it feels like you have stepped into some old world luxury (with Wi-Fi). The décor is beautiful, the common areas remind me of Grantham Manor and the staff was very attentive. I would warn folks that there is not an elevator, so if you are unable to walk up a flight of stairs this may not be the right place for you. Don't worry about carrying your luggage up the stairs, the staff has that covered. The location is great for seeing the local sights, with easy access to all lines of public transportation.

Great place to spend our four day holiday in Dublin. The staff were very accommodating and Tom was exceptional in welcoming us our first day and making many recommendations - many of which we followed and were very glad we did. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and quite delicious. The location being directly across from Stephen's Green was ideal and let us enjoy quick access to everything we wanted.

Was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable and had high quality bed linen. The room has a safe and tea and coffee making facilities and good quality complimentary toiletries. The location is perfect, the 757 bus to and from airport runs every 20 minutes and stops just around the corner. The National Concert Hall is just a 2 minute walk from the hotel and the picturesque St Stephen's Green is literally on the doorstep. Just an absolute delight from start to finish. Would definitely recommend and hope to return soon.

The room was beautiful with ceiling rose coving and marble fireplace. It was a twin with a large window framing St. Stephens Green. Breakfast the next morning was delightful.

Lovely, clean and affordable accommodation within easy walking distance of city centre.
Our room, which accommodated four friends on a college reunion weekend, had tea and coffee making facilities
and the breakfast was to die for... Would definitely stay there again.

Visited for Easter weekend. Was given a lovely very big kingsize bedroom on the ground floor which had a safe, kettle
and even 2 bottles of water. Wi-Fi is also free and the password is kept in the room. We arrived in Dublin early morning due to flight times we went to the hotel and left our cases there and signed the paperwork when we went back to check in at 2 our cases were waiting in the room for us.
The staff are all very helpful and pleasant to speak to. The breakfast was really nice and the dining staff are also lovely. The location is also really good directly looking over the green, round the corner from a 757 bus stop for the airport (airlink) buses and a 5 minute walk to shops.
We had a brilliant stay and would recommend it to anyone who was thinking of going to Dublin.

Very convenient location. St.Stephen's Green Park is just opposite. The room is clean and recently renovated
with big screen TV and very good wi-fi connections. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They also serve a tasty breakfast.

My wife and I stayed for one night and had breakfast, which was very good, with fresh fruit. Service at breakfast was very good. The room was very spacious with a nice view of the park at the rear. Being on St Stephen's Green it was an ideal location (we went to an opera at the National Concert Hall).
